Thanks Mercy. It is great that this traditional event is becoming so well known far and wide in Mexico and outside. We of course put up our Offrenda on the main patio of our Uruapan home, every year. There is also one erected in our main square by the municipality and a contest.
There are events at the Huatepero and in the Meseta Purepecha.
Unfortunately we are leaving for La Paz, early next week and will not be here in Michoacan as normal for us.

P.S. Linda Neil has written articles that have been published in three countries and on MY SPACE. These include photos from Tzintzuntzun, where the tradition has been carried out for centuries.. It was the capital of the Tarascan empire.
