Hi this is Kat from San Felipe. I'm looking for anyone in LaPaz who can help out a former associate of mine. He's there and is looking for a job and is a very talented web master; speaks great English and you can reach him at Luis Almodovar - the job he went down for didn't pan out and he could also use a house sitting or guest house situation, until he gets settled. If you know anyone who can help him out, I would be very appreciative. Thanks. Kat from San Felipe!

Hola Deborah!
We moved here in 2000 when I was 50. WE bought and rehabbed a house, sold it and built another on the beach in La Paz. We are now selling it and moving. It has been an interesting 9 years with many ups and downs. We both work, me on the Internet, my beloved at CIBNOR as the science editor. He can walk to work along the beach and comes home for lunch. We have many fiends, Mexican and other nationalities.
Are you in La Paz now, or just planning a trip?
I am off to Tijuana to see my eye surgeon, then back here then vacation for the first 2 weeks of October. Let me know if you would like to have a coffee.

Goo morning all! It fgeels like Mondy to me. We were in Tujuana for two days. The weather was gorgeous as usual. and the are where we were and will be going regularly, Zona Rio is lovely.
My friend Ernesto Fragoso, the chief fiduciary at BANORTE with responsibility for both states of Baja, Sonora and Sinaloa says that the only action in real estate he sees is in La Paz and Los Cabos!

Madame Cousteau came to La Paz to dedicate a virtual observatory. I was honored to have a private meeting with her. She is charming, intelligent and passionate. Later she presented the French ambassador and the governor of BCS with pieces of the hull of Calypso!
Watch for my complete article in allthingsgirl.com in September!!

Anyone looking to purchase real estate or get cash out from their existing property, let me know. We are still making loans in Mexico.

On December 7, 2009, we had quite the windstorm pick up in our little town of San Felipe. Sand was blown about for a few hours, and sharp gusts blew through the bay.

Hola Velia, I was happy to see your note regarding Señor Buchsbaum. Can you give me an idea how big his shop is? I just want to know if I'd have to wait or if I'd need an appointment. I'm restoring an older car and I want quality. Jim
