Hola Deborah!
We moved here in 2000 when I was 50. WE bought and rehabbed a house, sold it and built another on the beach in La Paz. We are now selling it and moving. It has been an interesting 9 years with many ups and downs. We both work, me on the Internet, my beloved at CIBNOR as the science editor. He can walk to work along the beach and comes home for lunch. We have many fiends, Mexican and other nationalities.
Are you in La Paz now, or just planning a trip?
I am off to Tijuana to see my eye surgeon, then back here then vacation for the first 2 weeks of October. Let me know if you would like to have a coffee.

Exploring here, looking to make new friends and learn from those who have traveled this journey before me.

My friend Ernesto Fragoso, the chief fiduciary at BANORTE with responsibility for both states of Baja, Sonora and Sinaloa says that the only action in real estate he sees is in La Paz and Los Cabos!

Hi, happy to join the La Paz group. Only moved here two years ago, love the city and the area, and look forward to talking to you all soon.

Madame Cousteau came to La Paz to dedicate a virtual observatory. I was honored to have a private meeting with her. She is charming, intelligent and passionate. Later she presented the French ambassador and the governor of BCS with pieces of the hull of Calypso!

Anyone looking to purchase real estate or get cash out from their existing property, let me know. We are still making loans in Mexico.
