JR, so sorry we missed Halloween at Casa Isabel. We just got back home last night. Wonderful week's visit in Vallarta. We were at Hotelito del Jardin in El Tuito Friday afternoon! And yes, I recommend it also. We managed to see a lot of the little towns up in Nayarit on Monday and then hit Vallarta Sur Friday. We are exhausted, but I think it was the best vacation we've had in years!

Walked through Hotelito del Jardin, and it's delightful, very, very nice. Highly recommended.

A french couple run it, haven't been there yet, but may go by on Tue, when I go to Tehuamixtle. I know Paco, he's editor of Vallarta Lifestyles.

In all my researaching areas around PV I've "found" Hotelito del Jardin in El Tuito. Have any of you been there? I found this on website www.paco-ojeda.com. The pictures of this B&B look fabulous! We'll definitely be checking this out when we come down.

My husband and I will be hitting the road beginning the middle of November to re-discover the Colonial highlands areas of Mexico. We are in need of storage for a large suitcase and duffle bag of our personal item while we are on the road. We will be gone for approximately 4 to 6 months. We would be happy to compensate someone who might be able to assist us. Please contact me: motherlauras@gmail.com Muchas gracias! Laura

My husband and I have returned to Puerto Vallarta after a five year absence and find it just as wonderful as when we lived here in the late 90's. Yes, it has grown but it still the beautiful bay and wonderful people we remember.

It is a major Cruise Ship Day! Watch out for mass tourist invasion and vendors jumping for joy... http://www.vallartaescapes.com/go/?p=3356

Thanks for posting, and you're absolutely right about Ceneval (the exam discussed in the original blog) needing to take us into consideration and also about the lack of training. I wish we had a mandatory exam, which would go something like this...Q…
