Hello to all/Hola a todos
While I have been traveled extensively and beheld many beatiful sights and had several adventures all over the world, nothing beats my little corner of the world called Navojoa, Sonora. While I am the first one to admit that it isn't much to look at and that it can get frustrating living here sometimes, it grows on you after a while...
I think this site is a wonderful idea. Anything that helps people conect and communicate should be encouraged. If anybody has some sort of cross cultural question to ask, or a confusion that needs to be sorted out, I would be glad to help out as much as I can.
For the Alamos crowd: While living in Alamos has its advantages, it is also lacking in some aspects. I can refer you to various businesses and services in Navojoa (I.e. hardware stores, markets, repairmen, architects, mechanics, tires, etc.). Over the years, I've have developed a small network of contacts. I also provide transalation services, both written and verbal.

- No, actually he died in a car crash about 2 miles north of Navojoa. He had been driving all night long and fell asleep at the wheel. He never knew what happened.

- Arturo, did your father die in the crash at Yecora? If so, yes I did know him when your parents were at our resort. I felt terrible when they gave me the news at the Obregon Airport. It was such a tragedy.
