I live in Rosarito Beach, Baja California, Mexico, just 20 miles south of the border. Storms such as Jimena generally diminish greatly by the time they get here. I honestly don´t expect much more here than perhaps some something a bit windy and ra...

- I'd say the storm has passed leaving some rain & just wind for the past 3 hours - it stayed off-shore so we got outer bands - all in all, it was pretty good and because not alot of rain, I expect damage is limited - my best wishes for everyone north of here -
Yes, I am sure you get plenty of people hoping to capitalize on your hard work. I can't see any other way but hard work, and continuing to try new things. I lived in Cabo for 16 years. Loved it, and still like many things about Cabo, and Cabo will never die as you know, it will re invent itself a little, but it will be back...it is too special a place. rk
Thanks Brian,
I hope it goes well for you. It has been tough slugging for a while. I think that by the end of the year, it will be much better, much more confidence in the market. It is not that there is no money...there is plenty I think, just people are gun shy and for good reason, but slowly...it is coming back. We are touring 2 people a day at one of our projects on the beach, and it is slow season here, so it is picking up someplace! Will send article for you approval this week. rk
Got it Brian, completely understand, thanks again, Daniel will be in touch.
On the web site, it talks about another expo in February of 2010. Any more info available on those dates? rk
Yes absolutely, I have tons of stuff to send you. If you can give me the specs on formats and tech info, then I will forward it to you. You will receive an email from Daniel Hernandez from our office. thanks for the opportunity. rory
We are booked through most of October with commitments in Monterrey and La Paz and in the states, so we could not participate in the Expo. I would be happy to send someone to speak about Green Building and Green Sales if you would find that interesting. Do you have room in the Agenda for a speaker on Green projects? If so, we would be happy to bring someone, it is an interesting topic, and would fit your profile I think. Please let me know if that works for you. rk
Between Puerto Vallarta & Acapulco you will find a piece of Paradise known as Manzanillo. This group is for American, Canadian and other expatriates living the good life in Manzanillo. If you plan to move here, them join. There's also room for you.
There's a lot of talk about Health Care reform in the US & lower Medical costs in Mexico. We would like to hear from our Members on their experiences with Medical Care in Mexico. Recommend Doctors, Clinics & Hospitals if you wish.
A fun way to pick up some language skills, let's post our favorite Mexican sayings. I've actually gotten lots of vocabulary this way and you can amaze your Mexican friends with your knowledge of the culture.
