- Marci and I were going to originally open a bed and breakfast concept after we moved to Tepoztlán five years ago, but discovered that many of the restaurants in Tepoztlán were not open during the week. Since we wanted to attract international travelers along with Mexican visitors we realized tthat we would need to have restaurant services available for our guests. We also used our experience in our prior careers to create spa and salon services using the best practitioners in the area.
Today Tepoz Fuego is a true authentic Boutique style Hotel located on a small property in Tepoztlán that specializes in service and attention creating an intimate and luxurious atmosphere for our guests. We seek to provide an enhanced level of service at a good reasonablle premium price. All of the details of the hotel are at the highest level of quality and esthetic beauty and this allows our guests to enjoy themselves and renew themselves completely. Other places may call themselves a Boutique Hotel but they lack authenticity and do not provide what we have accomplished here at Tepoz Fuego.
Our general Tepoztlán property enjoys spectacular views of the surrounding beauty of the Tepozteco Mountains set in a paradise of gardens and trees with a running stream with two water falls on the property. We are in a peaceful and tranquil area of town and we provide private secure parking for our guests.
All of the luxurious rooms enjoy unique themes and special decorations and artwork that enhance their themes and bathrooms. Rooms are kept impeccably clean and each one has special unique features. The price range here reflects these many options. The rooms are designed to accommodate romantic couples, friends, individual travelers or families wanting to enjoy our resort atmosphere. Our six main sleeping rooms provide private bathrooms, and the largest sized imported king or queen size orthopedic beds. Our spa and resting areas feature original frescos, murals, and stained glass scenes.
Our Jardin Restaurant has been rated by our guests as the number one restaurant in Tepoztlán on the independent international web site Trip Advisor. We are fortunate to have one of the most talented chefs in Mexico with Chef Noe Rrodriquez Ocampo managing and designing our kitchen offerings. Noe, a local resident born in Tepoztlán, and his assistant, Chef Alvaro Miranda Portugal, feature in our Jardin Restaurant traditional Mexican Cuisine, International Cuisine, fresh sea food, shell fish, vegetarian chaoices, and imported USDA choice beef. Our waiter Rodrigo Villalpando Aceves has had many years of domestic and international experience as a wonderful server in his profession.
