Hi Chris! Sounds like you're making a good decision to come & check out the area with a view to making a decision about retiring here. My husband (who's from Mexico City) & I moved here from Florida eight years ago & absolutely love it. Lake Chapala is, as you know, ranked as one of the best retirement destinations &, once you see for yourself, you'll understand why. We'd be delighted to offer you hospitality when you come to check out the area & help you as much as possible find answers to all your questions. Our business email is email@example.com, so when you're ready to think about reservations, just drop us a line & we'll see what we can offer you. If you're thinking of coming after October, I do need to warn you that you need to make a reservation at least 4-5 months in advance. We offer very competitive monthly rates (between US$500- UD$800 inc taxes) &, if you can spare the time, a month should give you a good idea of the area & whether it's right for you. Hope this helps & that you're looking forward to retirement. If you decide to move here, it will be anything but quiet & boring! There's so much going on, lots of activities & charitable organisations to which you can donate some of your time that I recommend guests to think twice before saying "yes" to everything as it can be overwhelming! An agenda is essential! Have a good week-end & kind regards.
