Cabo San Lucas Airport gets "International" terminal status

This morning on Cabo Mil radio 96.3 FM, State Secretary of Tourism Alberto Trevino announced that the airstrip north of Cabo San Lucas has finally acheived status as an International aerodrome. This will make "Cabo San Lucas International" the fourth official international airport in Baja California Sur, giving the state the distinction of having two more than any other of Mexico's 31 states.

Merging AMPI and the Puerto Penasco MLS or real estate asscoaition

I am a 24 year veteran RE Broker in Cabo. I have heard that the Puerto Penasco AMPI group has absorbed a grass roots MLS type organization there and I wonder how that happened, what the logictics were, etc. I'd like to talk to a veteran there.
I helped start our local MLS and now the members who joined AMPI as well are interested in us merging. We are well along the negaotiating path, but I'd like input from any who have accomplished this and will gladly share our experience.
