Mandy is right on. What are you waiting for? Take the trip alone, fly down by yourself; talk to people on the plane, forget cruises, get there, get involved; stay up late, walk the Malecon, sleep late, talk to strangers, introduce yourself, check ...

Erin, being old gives the advantage of hindsight and experience. That being said, why do your plans have to change because of breaking up with your boyfriend? If you had an idea of what you'd do in Mexico, why not pursue it? Life has taught me tha...

Big decision

So we got back together and I now have a major decision to make... my current job is offering me a better position if I decide to stay here, but idk what to do... I love him but things have changed so we'll just have to see. He has 5 months to prove to me that he's not the same as everyone else that I've been with. Decisions decisions but they are life altering... Thank you everyone for your comments I appreciate them

Aries (the ram) loves freedom, and will accept any challenge. You will get impatient if your ideas do not work out immediately and as expected. You are unwilling to follow someone else's suggestions, especially if they do not make sense to you. You often have excess energy which can make you aggressive. Arians are brave leaders who express care and concern for all they lead. However, an Arian as a follower is rare, and can be troublesome. Some Arians will act self-centered… Continue

Erin so I have just moved to Queretaro and it is really beautiful. I can't say that there was any major culture shock. Things are a little different, but overall its so beautiful, the food is great, and everyone is incredibly sweet. Good Luck!!!!

Erin... once you get divorced you can get married in Mexico. You can get married in the States are here..either way its going to be paperwork. If you plan to teach or live here you need an FM2 or FM3 visa...you can get that after you're here on a tourist card. I suggest you go to this web site:
www. secretaria de relaciones exterior mexico. then look on the page for English, click it and look for FM2 for foreigner married to Mexican .
This is how I got my papers. Hell ! nothings easy but if you just keep working at it finally you'll get over the barriers. The immigration office in Tlaxcala (San Pablo Apetatitlan), is friendlier than in Mexico City.

Erin, We have been living in Tlaxcala for the past 3 months. We know Bobby Cox well. I took thousands of photos and hundreds of videos of Tlaxcala during this past Feb, March, and April. We are planning on returning about next January 21st or so.

Good for you, I think you´ll love it here. Sounds like you´re going to Panzacola, Puebla has a population of 2 million, Tlaxcalas more tranquil but if you get to yearning for dancing, movies, night life , etc. theres plenty of public transportation to the big city... or you could take a 2 hour bus ride to Mexico City (21 million people), no lack of interesting places or things to do.Tlaxcala.
