- Hola Gloria! I live in Ajijic too! We have a small home in Barra de Navidad that we are renting out this winter. It is 1.5 blocks from the beach and close to all the downtown stores/restaurants. My local cell is 331 193 9637.

We returned from our trip to Punta Banda and Irka was such a wonderful host; showing us many homes and also invited us to see her play. She arranged a nice home for us to stay the first nite...overlooking the water and the following day we did the tour of beach homes and others within the PBanda community. We had brunch at a local eatery and then attended the 2 pm showing of the play, where Irka played the lead. She is a natural, and quite good. It was fun, and we met many people who live there and seem to have adjusted very well...they like it there alot... We are still undecided.
Which brings this note to you... We are leaving for San Diego today and will be on a plane very early tomorrow morn heading to Guadalajara, then on to Aijiic and Lake Chapala. We will prob take a taxi to the village, and then decide whether to rent a car and explore further. We will be staying at Nueva Posada and should be arriving in the late afternoon of the 14th... I don't know what arrangements Joe has made as to our "ckg out places to live" while there, but it would be nice to meet you while there. Our cellphones did not work in Punta Banda ?? so not sure they wil work in your area either...hwr, our cellphones are 480-3321283 Joe, and 480-201-5593 Linda. We are excited about checking out the area so perhaps we will see you soon.
