The Association of Mexican Real Estate Professionals (AMPI) has a new President. Ing Guillermo Salgoda recently took the oath of office at a ceremony in Hotel La Mananitas, Cuernavaca, Morelos. International Real Estate Spotlight Shines on Mexico

The National Association of Realtors® has announced a new program to Spotlight A level affiliated, premium countries. During the first year (2013) the Spotlight will be on Mexico. Australia will be in the Spotlight in 2014 and Canada in 2015.

A new CCIE (Training and Statistics Section) will be introduced at the AMPI Congreso in Guadalajara, later this month. The new course, “Mexico From A to Z” was formerly NAR’s course “Doing Business in Mexico.” Linda Neil PIC (Mexico) ABR, CIPS, TRC and Mercy Duenas of Guadalajara will be co- presenters. Mercy’s husband former President of AMPI and Linda Neil were co-authors of the original NAR course. The new AMPI course has been overhauled and updated.

San Miguel de Allende was the location of two successful real estate events, last week. Day one was sponsored by AMAR (Retirement Community Association).
