HI John - I'm a little late in viewing this blog comment but I will do better in the future. If you have any real estate financing needs, please keep me in mind. Ditto on the "inexperience" factor for most loan borkers trying to do business (usually part-time) in Mexico. I have been doing loans in Mexico for 5 years and it is my full-time business. I don't do any loans on US properties.
