Vice President of the Instituto de Informatica de San Felipe; manager of The Net, San Felipe's first ISP; I write the San Felipe Scoop and teach English. I love to act; write; laugh. I had the opportunity to play an extra in the movie Circulation, filmed here in our little village by the sea. I enjoy writing Kat's Korner and meeting new people who come to San Felipe. There is a magical aura to the Sea of Cortes and it draws many talented, intelligent people, as well as the nuts. We also do pod casts and Luis Almodovar is my produce of katskornerpodcasts.com which are interviews of local officials and residents and out of town guests. Time Magazine ran an article in 2001 about the border towns around the United States and our site, sanfelipe.com.mx was the only site printed out of all the border articles. San Felipe Rocks!

Show a litle gratitude

Right on - "Founder Dude" - if you want me to open up a can of "whoop ass" on anyone, just let me know. I know how much time and work George puts into this site and ANYONE with the nerve to complain should be horse whipped or in the alternative, banned from the site or sent to the corner for recess.

Hurricane San Felipe Style

All storm warnings for Jimena have been dropped but significant flooding and damage has occurred in the Loreto, Mulege, Santa Rosalia region of the peninsular. More rain is likely from the remnant depression, but San Felipe is all clear. We did have a huge downpour with lightening and thunder. Aside from roofs leaking, some streets flooding, no significant damage was reported. Erosion is and has been a problem with our ever changing tides, but our last big one, Nora, and then Tropical Storm Juli… Continue
