I am actually licensed in Sonora - Puerto Penasco. AMPI does have a code of ethics, the harshest penalty for breech being expulaion from AMPI. I suppose one could be sued and therefore have to pay monetery fines through the court system.

- I'm a Canadian, but also now American, and I live in Puerto Penasco, Mexico. After nearly two decades involved in social work, I wanted to do something "happier". Also, I lost a brother at 40 and that really drove home the point that life is too short. So now I'm selling real estate in Puerto Penasco and loving it.
