Tell us about yourself, type of business, last employment
I am a relocated Texan who raised her family in London and Cheltenham England. Recently came to "Paradise" to pursue a career in Real Estate and Property Management. I was an LVN before I came south a vocation I very much loved. I love dealing with people in any way I can as I'm a real "people person". I'm very outgoing and charismatic and would love to hear from like minded individuals to talk about current affairs, movies, books, spiritual ideas, business...anything!! Oh, I'm newly single and " accepting applications"!! :-)
Do you have any websites for your business or websites you would like to refer someone?

I'm sorry.....this is so late commenting back to you. I thank you for telling me about the newspaper and I did get a chuckle about Bandera.
We will try to get down there permanently someday. It keeps getting moved back because of poor health with aging parents. So fortunate to have parents for so long.....but very tough to think of letting them go.
Becki, have you ever thought about Xalapa? We're considering Xapala. Lived for a year in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle and just loved it. It's about 30 minutes north of PV. We've done some research on Xalapa (near Vera Cruz) and it appears to be a lovely little town that has a growing expat population. We're considering this location as it is just too hot to stay in the Bay of Banderas during the summer months. We figure when we finally settle down and are not traveling anymore (many years from now), a better climate will suit our needs.
lisa, where are you living? We are definitely moving SOB in a year or two. Problem being....selling house, de-cluttering, grand kids, etc. etc. My mom and dad have been in San Miguel almost 20 years. We will probably go there first and travel about to find the right place for us. My husband feels it's a downright shame we must leave our own country in order to live a wonderful life.....but he is coming around. He's not crazy about San Miguel because of the terrain and hills. And we both cannot stand the humidity of a coastal town.....so, the journey begins to find a place suitable to the both of us and still have it economically feasible to travel back and forth to the US. Any help you could provide would be enormously helpful.
