My favorite is The Lost World of Quintana Roo by Michel Piessel. It chronicles his 300 mile journey from what is now Cancun all the way to Belize on foot through the Mayan jungle in the 1958. Fascinating story! It really puts the rapid growth of the…

Taste of Playa - A Huge Success!

Finally, after three months of hard work and countless hours of planning and organizing, Taste of Playa went off to rave reviews. The event saw nearly three thousand Playa del Carmen residents and tourists come through the grounds. Some came just to look around. many more stayed to enjoy the fabulous food, the music and the time to catch up with old friends. It seemed that everyone I know was there, eating and laughing under the hot Caribbean sun.

Hola Michelle~
Thanks for the add and delighted to connect. Ah I see it is your birthday today. Feliz Cumpleanos!! Best wishes & blessings always.
I was in Playa del Carmen last year. Loved it. I actually have an interesting picture there sitting on the beach. No can figure out what it is as there was nothing in front of me. Some say it looks like an angels wing. :)
I plan on moving down sometime soon to the area!
Have a great day!

hey Michele, I'm with you on the title issues in tulum. I' just loving walking the beaches there. actually love walking Playa del Carmen as there are so many interesting people to look at and watch along with some great little places to eat and get a drink. I plan on spending 3-4 week at my clients project El Faro and Paseo del Sol this winter. maybe meet you and your husband for a drink. do you work on your own or for a real estate company? most of our inquires are specific for property advertised on our site. do you work with any larger projects or developments?

On December 7, 2009, we had quite the windstorm pick up in our little town of San Felipe. Sand was blown about for a few hours, and sharp gusts blew through the bay.
