In my new book, we are exploring different places to retire in Mexico. In this volume we visit the State of Sonora in the Northwestern part of the country. Sonora is the second largest state in Mexico.

Kino Bay Mexico

I want to tell you about the community I have lived in for 25 years.  It is Kino Bay Mexico, in the state of Sonora, a short 4 hr drive from Nogales, Az.  It is a beautiful beach, said to be one of the nicest 6 mile stretch in Mexico.  A small fishing village known for their seafood.  We have 2 sections, Kino Viejo where most of the Mexican fisherman & carvers of ironwood figures live, & Kino Nuevo, much newer & where most Americans, Canadian…
