Just a short update:
I had a corneal transplant and cataract removed in Tijuana one month ago.
Dr. Arturo Chayet is the best in the world, and his clinic,
Codet Vision Institute is first class. Even has a café , Café 2020, and the coffee is wonderful. His staff is professional, efficient, courteous, caring and all speak English. The comfort and well being of the patient is foremost.
I am limited in what I can do right now. But I know I will be grateful for the restored vision. My ophthalmologist in La Paz, Dr.
Lechuga is handling my follow up care. He is also one of the best.
He said when he rec'd the email from Codet vision confirming my surgery, he was sending me good vibrations.
There is the first tropical storm warning of the season for a yet unnamed storm heading towards Mazatlan. We have some blessedly gray skies, which makes it easier on my eyes.
We loved the first part of our stay in Ensenada, the live, cool Pacific air was invigorating. Ensenada is upgrading it's downtown, and looks wonderful.
The Zona Rio in Tijuana where the doctor is located is clean, lovely, safe and very metropolitan.
Remember, Mexico is safe, inexpensive and welcoming.
Keep visitng my blog, when I can spend more time in front of the screen I will write more.
